Villagers help with all kinds of household tasks

  • Food tasks like grocery shopping/pickup, dinner prep, and school lunch prep.
  • Household tidying like laundry, making beds, toy clean up, and dishes. Or even clean for the cleaners.
  • Special events like party planning and holiday shopping.
  • Organization and deep cleaning projects like the playroom, messy closets, the refrigerator and pantry, and kitchen cabinets.
  • Planning work like calendar keeping, summer activity registrations, and school forms.
  • Shopping list errands like school supply lists, summer camp necessities, dorm move-in items, and teacher gifts.
  • Errand running like taking the dog to the groomer, dropping and picking up dry cleaning, and post office runs.
  • Household upkeep for timebound events like the first weeks of a new baby's arrival, or when mom or dad is out of town or undergoing medical treatment.
  • Project management like scheduling in-home quotes for new window treatments and help finding local contractors to repaint the kitchen. 
  • Consulting on family protocols like creating chore charts, screen time rules, new driver contracts, and setting up internet safety protocols. 
  • Elder household care for when an elder parent is super independent but could use someone to help prep meals, tidy around the house, or take on a bigger project.
